Hon Christine Kangaloo @ the public education mtg in the College of Centre City Mall, Chaguanas
My colleagues at the head table have sent me to deliver a message of welcome. And when I look at this crowd here tonight, I have only four words to say: Welcome-to-PNM-country!!!! We are in a PNM-mode tonight. Because what we about tonight is public education. And public education has always been the business of the PNM. While other political parties hold meetings to attack each other and to back-bite, we in the PNM hold meetings to educate the people. Because that is the PNM’s way. That was the PNM’s way from the days of Dr. Williams.

Youth Speaker Rory Wallace @ the public education meeting in the College of Arima
My name is Rory Wallace of Santa Rosa Heights Arima, and I have been involved with the People’s national Movement for the past 10 years of my life starting with the Arima Youth league. As an executive member of the Arima Youth League, we sought to empower the young people of our borough by sharing common interests to help them in a positive way and to promote awareness of things affecting our society, which is something the PNM has been has been supporting for quite a number of years and has not changed up to this day.
